Second of the back-to-back runs. Also, gets the vote for most disappointing state.

I was really looking forward to Wyoming – the state always seemed like the wilderness frontier, full of history and home of Yellowstone.

The race course was through the town, and along the river there, nice enough, but not full of the scenic vistas I had imagined. Driving back to Denver was a let down though – not really any pleasant scenery, and I was happy to be finished with this place.

I know that Wyoming has some beautiful places, but I didn’t see much of that on this trip.
