Two Charlestons!

This was the second of the Charleston double.

The race was put on by the University of Charleston, and it was a cold, rainy start. The course went along the river and through the town, with some great views of the West Virginian capitol. A surprising place – not what I expected from West Virginia. I enjoyed the run and the visit to the town.

The medal was interesting – not a medal at all, rather, it is a small pin. After the race and the rain, a little disappointing, but at least it is proof!
