26. Wildwood – 26 August 2012

A run on the Jersey shore!

Flew into Philadelphia, hired a car and drove to Wildwood. It started out a cool day, sunny with a bit of a breeze, but pleasant enough. The run was right along the shoreline, much of it on the actual wooden boardwalk – it really was like running in an old movie!

Saw some very interesting characters during the run – like a reality show in some parts. I was surprised by the place – a little slice of 1960s optimism there, families by the seashore, that kind of thing. Pretty cool old wooden rollercoaster too. Reminded me a lot of St Kilda, Melbourne, Australia.

Very enjoyable run.
